Donations to Kokomo Humane Society
The Kokomo Humane Society is a 501(c)3 and was established in 1891, making it one of the oldest non-profit organizations in Howard County. Although Animal Control is funded through city and county government, the Humane Society is funded by private monetary donations and memberships. We do not receive funding through any national organizations such as the ASPCA or HSUS. Through your tax-free donations the Kokomo Humane Society is able to assist thousands of needy animals each year. Your generous donations help to support not only the care and sheltering of helpless and homeless animals, but also enable us to continue providing services to the community such as adoption, humane education and volunteering. Donating Items to the Shelter

Facility Underwriting Opportunities
There is a constant need for upkeep and upgrades to our facility to maintain and improve conditions for the many animals in our care. Donate a pet bed
	The donation of a Kuranda dog bed gives a homeless animal a dry, soft and comfortable place for them to sleep. Unfortunatly we cannot afford to purchase one for all of our kennels here at the shelter. Consider sponsoring the donation of a Kuranda bed, or organize your work, church or social group to split the fee. You will be recognized for your efforts, and donations are tax free!
