The Humane Society of the United States has developed some practical guides for many different aspects of companion animal behavior and information. The Pets for Life program is offered to all animal welfare organizations and animal guardians to help them enjoy their pets as part of their family. Make your adoption process faster.
Download the Kokomo Humane Society Adoption Application here. Please present your completed application in person or fax it to (765)454-0082. Mailed applications are not accepted.
A note about our "hold" policy.
Animals can be held for 48 hours with a $25 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit which is applicable towards the adoption fee. After 48 hours, the animal will be placed back up for adoption.
Distance Adopters
We encourage adoptions from everywhere, but for your own convenience, please call ahead to ensure the animal you wish to adopt has not already been adopted. Thank you!
